Our Mission Statement
At Pathway Community Church, our mission describes why we are here. It is the reason for which God created us and in this community. Our desire is to bring help and hope to our neighborhood with the love of God that comes from Jesus and seen in each of us.
What We Believe
Pathway Community Church is a non-denominational church that believes in and follows the One true living God manifested in the Trinity – Father, Son and Holy Spirit; one God eternally existent in three Persons; co-equal, co-eternal and co-existent. We exist as a church solely for His glory and follow His word the Bible as our authority for everything we say, do, and think. We acknowledge that all of us are sinners and that we are saved by God’s grace through faith in His only Son Jesus Christ and what Christ did on the Cross for us. We also believe that the salvation of humanity is only through faith in Jesus Christ and that baptism is the outward sign of this inward faith. We trust in the death of Jesus Christ and His bodily resurrection as well as anticipate His physical return to this earth.
Our Vision
At Pathway Community Church, our vision describes why we are here. It is the reason for which God created us, placed us on this planet, and in this community.
Our first mission is to be what our name describes, a pathway to the cross. We teach the word of God faithfully on a level that can be understood.
Secondly, we wish to be a lighthouse for the neighborhood around us by letting you know we are here for you and that God loves you.
Ultimately Pathway desires to reach out with the Gospel to faraway places in the world.
Our Values
Values shape our church’s culture. Here are a few that top our list:
Worship: God is to be loved and worshipped with all of our heart and passion.
Truth: All that we teach, believe and strive to live flow from God’s Word.
Freedom: Everyone needs to find true spiritual freedom in Jesus, and in safe gatherings of openness and honesty.
Service: True purpose, fulfillment and impact are found in serving others as Jesus did.
Honor: Giving our very best honors God and inspires others.
Acceptance: Warmth and friendliness is shown to everyone who comes through our doors.
We may be a smaller church but you will never find more love and acceptance than at Pathway Community Church.
